Inside My Shell

Hiding in the shadows
trying to find a way out
running to another place
a nightmare eats me pulling me back
In the shell I rot
Escaping is a dream
Death approaches upon me
Suffocating in the filthy air
Cries of help echoing. not answered
No one to heal the wounds
Gasping for breath
I find no door out
Reaching for a hand to free my soul
Endless hours of suffering
A voice only wanting to be heard
Choices are limiting
It has got the best of me and has torn me apart.
Drags me to the ground
Failing to live
I slowly take my life away
Streaming tears fall down my dirty face.
Suceeding at this shows me I can relieve the pain
My heartbeat fades
Shortly nothing is left
Just sounds of those still remaing
Under the pitch black night sky
